Background:

Moisés (he/him) manages a portfolio of government funders, identifying and evaluating public funding opportunities, and providing strategic guidance to Mission teams to pursue these opportunities. Before joining Environmental Defense Fund, Moisés worked at international development consulting firms, European think tanks, NGOs and universities. He led teams and advised organisations to secure and manage European Commission funding, managed day-today relationships with European development agencies to fund programmatic work, helped design programmes and monitored their progress. Moisés has a M.A. in EU Studies with a specialisation in EU Economics. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, German and Russian.
